Original site release message:"My name is Dan Reed (aka Danimal), I'm Marketing major in the Isenberg School of Management here at UMass. I created the present version of this site on February 14th, 2005 to serve as a visual, all-in-one links site for UMass students. The whole site is based on student suggestion, which is why it's so great.
"After my last semester at UMass in December of 2006, I will be moving to Los Angeles to work in the film industry. If you'd like to see some of my work or get in touch with me, check out my YouTube Channel".
In January of 2007, this site was handed over to the next generation of UMass students to ensure that UMassLinks.com would continue to serve thousands of more students in graduating classes to come.
